From September 23rd to 27th, 2025, the China International Industrial Fair (CIIF) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. As the largest and most prestigious industrial event in the Asia-Pacific region, this year's CIIF, under the theme "New Industrial Quality, Intelligent Manufacturing Without Boundaries," gathered over 3,000 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, attracting 224,000 professional visitors—a record high.

Among its core professional exhibitions, the Numerical Control Machine Tools & Metalworking Exhibition (MWCS 2025) brought together more than 800 domestic and international companies. Leading laser enterprises, including Han's Laser, HGTech, TRUMPF, and Bystronic, showcased their flagship and debut products. Exhibits covered cutting-edge equipment such as high-speed laser cutting machines, 3D five-axis laser cutting machines, and intelligent welding cells, comprehensively demonstrating the core power of laser technology in driving industrial transformation.

The Grand Conclusion:

Over a Thousand New Technologies and Products Debuted

On September 27th, the 25th China International Industrial Fair concluded at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The five-day event brought together over 3,000 exhibitors from 28 countries and regions, featured 10 high-level forums, and hosted nearly 300 thematic events. More than a thousand new technologies and products made their debut, including nearly 400 representative achievements categorized as "extremely large, extremely small, extremely light, extremely intelligent, and extremely precise."

Statistics show that the fair attracted 224,000 professional visitors from 133 countries and regions, an 11% increase compared to the previous edition. Online exposure reached 2.314 billion, marking a growth of 71.28%.

This year's CIIF centrally showcased the development trend of "high-end, intelligent, and green" transformation in new-era industries, highlighting the strong resilience of China's industrial economy. From key structural components of the C919 large passenger aircraft to the power system model of the domestically built large cruise ship "Adora Magic City," and from the 600 km/h high-speed maglev train to precision gear measuring instruments, these "national heavyweights" are backed by the solid foundation of 1,500 key R&D projects tackling fundamental industrial technologies. This reflects China's strategic focus on prioritizing the real economy and tackling core technological challenges.

Gathering of Giants:

Forming a Global Laser Technology Showcase Matrix

Notably, the 2025 Numerical Control Machine Tools & Metalworking Exhibition (MWCS 2025), as a highlight of the fair, brought together key players from the entire laser industry chain.

During the exhibition, renowned domestic and international companies such as Han's Laser, HGTech, TRUMPF, Bystronic, Bodor Laser, HAITIAN, MAXphotonics, JQ Laser, DNE Laser, EC Laser, RAYCHAM Laser, LONGSUN Laser, YAWEI, etc. presented their respective "flagship" products and solutions.

The exhibits from these laser companies covered a wide range, from basic material cutting and welding to complex 3D processing and intelligent cell integration. They included high-speed laser cutting machines, high-speed laser tube cutting machines, 3D five-axis laser cutting machines, intelligent laser cutting cells, automated bending cells, all-electric press brakes, and flexible bending centers.

At this CIIF, laser cutting, welding, and intelligent systems became major focal points, highlighting their irreplaceable role in high-end manufacturing. The laser-related companies, with their rapid technological iteration and strong industry adaptation capabilities, stood out as one of the most closely watched groups.

Explosion of New Products:

Leading Laser Enterprises Compete for the Technological High Ground

In fact, CIIF has long been a top-tier stage for companies to showcase their technological prowess. The debut of multiple world-first products directly demonstrated the robust innovative strength of China's laser enterprises.

For example, Han's Laser launched its "Blue Crystal" series A55, A65, and A85 handheld welding equipment. Guided by the philosophy of "Making Welding Simpler," it aims to redefine industry experience standards.

Meanwhile, HGTech's 3D Five-Axis Laser Cutting Intelligent Equipment directly addresses the pain points of processing complex curved surfaces in sectors like automotive and shipbuilding, achieving micron-level precision and filling a gap in domestic high-end equipment.

Furthermore, laser giant TRUMPF released its new-generation Intelligent Flexible Laser Welding Workstation, newly incorporating BrightLine Scan bright surface welding technology, which integrates deep penetration, heat conduction, and optional wire feeding processes into one system.

Simultaneously, domestic newcomers competed on the same stage with international giants, further accelerating technological iteration.

For instance, Bodor Laser unveiled the Bodor Space Series 3D Five-Axis Cutting Machine, described as a "beast" for pioneering automotive intelligent manufacturing and processing irregular curved surfaces.; LONGSUN Laser, focusing on "AI + Laser Manufacturing," introduced a water-guided laser tube cutting machine, pushing the boundaries of traditional processes; EC Laser's 60 kW 3D Five-Axis Flat Beveling Solution integrates an AI intelligent laser head and a dual-cantilever system, providing crucial support for new energy battery manufacturing;  Quick Laser brought its new-generation GI3015 ultra-high-speed laser cutting machine, applicable to thick plate processing industries like steel structures, shipbuilding, engineering machinery, and sheet metal fabrication......

These debut achievements from laser manufacturers precisely meet the upgrade demands in sectors like new energy, automotive, and high-end manufacturing, showcasing a very clear direction for technological industrialization.
